This campaign was a massive franchise moment to increase player engagement and ignite fandom. We brought together five of Riot's largest games, to create a multi layered, multi interweaving storied moment. My team focused on the franchise style guide and the Wild Rift (WR) campaign tactics. We told a story of four young women trying to find friendship, hope and strength through their powers. WR is a MOBA for a younger audience. We focused our storytelling on places like (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and WeChat.) We wanted to give our players a real-time Star Guardian experience, in hopes of encouraging them to log on daily. Not only to play, but also to catch up on what their friends or even our Guardian characters themselves.

THE VLOGS
AR CARD COLLECTION
In this tactic we created a Instagram AR filter that allows players to digitally open a randomized pack of Star Guardian familiar cards as they try to collect them all in a digital deck. Familiars are Star Guardian magical helpers that aid them in the battle of hopelessness.
SG KARAOKE
We wanted to create an engagement that not only helped flesh out the Star Guardian world, but also elevated our franchise moment song by Porter Robinson. We took players on a journey to the karaoke lounge where they could sing to "Everything Goes On". We even added a bouncing familiar to add a little easter egg for passionate League Lore fans.
